Gone With The Wind

No matter how many times I watch this movie...Gone with the wind...it is just as good.
To me it shows how selfishness gets us nothing; and messing people over to get ahead for our selves is a waste of time; and it still never brings happiness to the soul. Scarolette was a horrible woman and continued to stay in love with someone else's husband. When she had no man, no husband, no child......where did she return too? The place she came from. I believe if there were to be a sequel....she would still be just as nasty and ruthless. After 3 marriages, widowed 2 times, lost their little girl....she still had learned nothing.

Then the wife showed her compassion even knowing how she felt about her husband. On her death bed, she asked Scarlette to take care of her baby and ...yes....her husband.

The movie just shows that it is not how long we live our lives; it is how we live the life we have.

Scarlette will always be the woman that was a shrew and {{right now I can't remember the wife's name}}; but, she died trying to bring new life into the world because she loved her family. She showed forgiveness towards someone that hated her and would have taken her husband in a split second if she could have.
