Hope she doesn't have kittens

Captured bobcat.
Bobcats are common in Washington and the Seattle area and can become problem animals. They are noted for killing pets, such as small dogs and cats, but are also well known for killing poultry, other captive birds and small mammals. Bobcats can pose a threat to human safety, especially when a female is raising kittens. Bobcats are also susceptible to the rabies virus.
Kapsoon has 2 huge bites. One on each hip. Think about it! A cat that can bite a German shepherd and get away with it.
We had some neighbors stop by last year and told me to make sure not to leave my little dogs outside for a minute with out supervision because they had seen the thing stalking the Boston-ese.
When you live in the woods ~~~ you have to take what lives here too; however, we do not have to lose our animals to them.
There are twin fawns here and they would be easy to catch by these big cats.
Kiona our Granddaughter said that she saw a big cat and I just told her to stay near the house.
I think I know now who got the goat kid last April. There was the goat minus its head. Awful!!!

  1. OMG! Thank God it was caught! God was surely watching over all of you. When I think how many animals you've "mysteriously" lost ... and how often all of you have been in its path going back and forth to the chicken house, the Mill, the trailer, the Dogs ... oh, my heart beats faster just thinking about it!!! Praise be to God that no human lives were lost!
