Death of a cell phone

Good Grief!

I was doing some laundry and I hate small loads; so I spied Jordan's coat laying there next to the dryer and whipped it into the sudsy water; went about my business ~~~ like sitting here at the computer.LOL.

I had my Granddaughter here so I had asked her to help me pull the clothes out of the dryer so I could unload the washer. Joking with her, I said "any money found out of my son's coat that was found was ours to keep and that will teach him not to clean out those pockets" we went on joking and laughing and then she pops up with "LOOK! And it is all mine." There she waves a $10.00 bill around. Still laughing I reach in for that blasted coat; and there it is. In HORROR I stand there looking like I just saw the worst thing in my life. I had washed Brittney's brand new cell phone. I didn't even want to touch it. I just stood there saying..."o no! O man!" Just looking at it like a moron until my husband finally came in there to see what all the "o no" was about. That was the end of our laughing over stealing my son's money that we thought we had scored on.

Actually we had no desire to really take his money.

Both Jordan and Brittney come strolling in from their trailor to see what they could grab and go ~~~dessert wise.

I guess I must have appeared to be standing there like the cat that still had the canary in my mouth because Jordan pops out with, "what's up?"

I look over at my Granddaugter ~~ that wonderful age of 10 ~~ and she starts laughing again. "Go ahead Grandma, tell Jordan what is up." Yep, " I was surely busted. Now you know how some people love the cells, so as dramatic as I could be I tell them to sit down. Now all eyeballs are on me including my husband as I spill out as fast as I can that I killed their beloved cell phone by washing it. Brittney looks like she went into shock and Jordan grabs the phone like he can some how ressurect the blasted thing.

I want to be the mother-in-law that I did not have. And this was not the way to do it!

Bless her little heart. She quietly says, " things just happen."

I wanted to cry.

She is such a nice and peaceful young woman.

Hoping that my apple pie would soothe their loss, I also offered ice cream.

I am forgiven, our Granddaughter went home, Jordan and Brittney are already deciding what color and model they want for the new phone and Adam and I are buying the new one tomorrow when we wander into town.

All the girls had their babies around the same time

Little Girl and Little Boy's 2 puppies will be sold this month.

I get so attached that I want to keep them all.

I don't have any photos of them in here right now; and I hope I get another camera soon.

They are Boston-ese.

The parents are brindle and this time she had a really pretty butterscotch and creamy white male. They have the markings like a boston terrier and look like one; but they have short legs and their ears can be up or hang short along their heads. The female puppy is a beautiful fawn with white legs and the undercoat is also white; her ears will stand up.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Brindi had her puppies 3 months ago and I just sold the last male 2 weeks ago to an elderly couple that had just lost their female. They wanted a female but fell in love with him. His ears stood straight too and he had the natural black and white Boston terrier colors/markings and his hair was a bit longer than the Boston's coat.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We got Fawn spayed. She went into her 1st heat and she had a prolapse. It was the most awful thing that I have ever seen and don't want to see that again....poor girl.

I knew that it had to be her uterus; what else could it be is what I first thought. It is when the uterus pops outside the vagina. When she went into heat it just came out.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Coalette is still playing the surrogate. Bless her 11 year old heart. She just babysits all the puppies from the time that they are 5 weeks to the time they leave. She even nurses them. She is our big black and fluffy chow. As soon as one of the female dogs around here have their puppies, she is right there with her nose in their business. Her eyes are darting back and forth and then she is welcomed by the mamas. All it takes is for one of us to say..."AWWWWWW, look at the baby and she is in the mood to take over when ever needed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Kapsoon our Shepherd had her 9 puppies and they all died........I was furious with the county for spraying the road-sides and weeds that came into our property. Totally egnoring the signs posted every where. I stormed out to the road and asked if he could read and he just said, "doing my job mam!" He sprayed right in the area that Kapsoon had dug her den like hole. We moved her, but the damage was already done. 3 weeks later she birthed them and I could tell by how they looked that they were not right. One by one we had to watch them die off.

Just imagine what that would and can do to human babies if their mothers were to be exposed!!

BRIGHT YELLOW SIGNS: DO NOT SPRAY! WE WILL DO THE CONTROL OF WEEDS.

Then they loped off the tops of the 2 evergreens that were finally taking off and looking good. Moron!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My husband bought back her (Kapsoon's) male pup from her litter last year from a young man that was deployed to Germany and couldn't take him. He is huge and beautiful.
The two dashunds are due this month also. August will have hers on the 11th and Twiggi will have hers on the 18th.
The little rat terriers finally are settled down
Kellie
Little Champion
(Daisie's & Champ's son last year)
Champion (we lost him last Fall)
The little rat terrier mamas are finally settled down and are good little moms.
Kelly had a pretty hard time and she accidently smashed one. So she just has the 1 left and makes sure that he is always right in her view.
Daisy had 3 and one died shortly after birth; but the 2 little males that she has are fat and very healthy. It shouldn't be hard to find them homes. I am hoping that the women that had requested females will fall in love with these little guys and take them instead.
The 1 that Kelly smashed was a pearl and just beautiful color and markings. The 1 that she has left is tri-chocolate. All long tails and I just didn't want to dock these ones tails. He has chocolate half way down his tail and the end half is white to match his under side and white coat that is nicely spotted.
Daisie's puppies are tri-chocolate, can't tell what color his tail is because she practically lays on top of them when we go to sneak a peak. The other one is the natural tri-color and I might just keep him.
Joey (our daughter's dog) is the male that we used and he is the chocolate-tri. He is so busy trying to see his off spring and the girls are not as friendly to him as they were when they were flirting and mating. POOR BOY!!
He likes it here in the country so much better than town; so Rabecca has decided to just let him live here.
I think I may have finally figured this out
I have been trying to get back here for a couple months and totally by accident I got here last night so I wrote it all down and got back today.
My goodness this has been the hardest thing for me to get going on.
V.....let me know if you can see this.
I need to know that I am doing it right.
